“Shall Article IV, Section 8, Term of Office, and Article IX, Section 11, Transition, of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Seagoville, be amended to establish three (3) year terms for council members and the Mayor and a transition to proceed as follows:  in 2003 the Mayor, Place 2 and Place 4 would all be up for election for two (2) year terms; in 2003 Place 6 will be special elected for a three (3) year term; in 2004 Place 1, Place 3 and Place 5 would be up for election; Place 1 and Place 3 will be for three (3) year terms and Place 5 will be for a two (2) year term; in 2005 the Mayor, Place 2, and Place 4 are all up for three (3) year terms; in 2006 Place 5 and Place 6 would be up for three (3) year terms.
